Our Toll Rating application provides us with the means to convert a central office ticketed message to a
billable format. We create transactions either from tape conversion programs, direct electronic transfer
through toll polling equipment, or, if necessary, by manual data entry. Extensive database master files
and control records are stored in the system's database, which provides flexible, user-defined rate methods
and reporting options. Rated toll data interfaces directly into the Commercial Billing application. Files
can be created for distribution to other companies in many different formats and media.
DataEast Toll Rating Highlights:
- Rate tables are date sensitive in that they can be built in advance of the due date and will automatically become effective on the date specified. A large variety of rate tables can be created per existing tariffs for domestic and international direct dial calls or operator-assisted calls.
- Sent Collect calls, originating 800, 900 calls, and rated toll calls can be forwarded to other carriers or companies in a various formats and media.
- Settlement reports, holding time studies, minutes of use reports and traffic analysis studies are just some of the reporting functions available, which can be tailored to client's specific requirements.
- Our rating process creates Carrier Access Billing records (known as Access Usage Records), which are combined with other CABS records we receive from our client's partners. A monthly process generates reports or files that can be fed into your Carrier Access Billing System.
